"S'not up ta me. I can ask the Sire though, if ya want. Yur joinin the Tribe, right? Sire Vantas ain't gonna let ya out 'less ya swear loyalty ta Caedis." Kaine respondent nonchalantly, stretching his forepaws before him before sitting up.
The Brute scratched absentmindedly at one of his ears with a hind leg before once again tending to his injured fore. "I hope ya do. Like I said, death follows ya. I like anyone who leaves corpses in their wake." Kaine paused in his ministrations to flash the cat a grin.
Giving the cat a once-over, he continued on, "How 'bout ya get some sleep, an I'll talk ta the Sire, a'right? Providin yur up ta joinin us. I'll try an dig ya up some food too, so you best stay where ya are till I get back." It was a generous offer, to give food to a prisoner. Quite rare, but not against the rules as far as the Brute was aware. Maybe he'd even bring back some water, if he could find some and come up with a good way to carry it back.
Kaine had never made many friends before. Barely knew the full meaning of the word. Personalities were so diverse and often grating or simply not fit for proper friendships. But somehow, Kaine had done more for this near stranger, shared more conversation and companionship (if reminiscing about how they enjoyed/would enjoy tearing up Fawn could be considered companionship) than the Brute had with any of his clan mates for a long time. Even his playful romp with Taere left him knowing less about the fox than he did Margay.
The odd, gore obsessed and often child-like Brute was often a loner. But he found that he quite liked sharing in Margay's company.

I suppose we could end off after your post (or maybe your post, and then a short post from me of Kaine leaving), and then pick this up tomorrow or the next day in-game, so that Kaine can talk to Vantas and see about getting Margay freed? Just to wrap up this on-site RP. X3 Hell, I can probably get on real quick tonight if you and Zomb are both available, and though we can't get into the actual Chasm, we could always pretend we are there?
