Mental Health: 89% Every time she catches herself falling into madness, she remembers the infected, and forces herself to start thinking, for she certainly wants to stay sane. The sight of her dead owners, however did mentally scar her.
Physical Health: 80% Has a fairly deep scratch on her right leg, from brushing against a sharp object while fleeing a group of the infected. Every now and then the scratch will bother her, especially when the air becomes damp

As of a few months ago, when she was fed and loved by her human owners, her figure was maintained by regular feeding and plenty of exercise. Now, however, it seems she's getting too much exercise and not enough food, so her figure has slimmed down quite alot. Her pelt is a soft blended out dark brown with a cocoa colored underfur. And white around her clear icy blue eyes, and on the tip of her tail.
~~~xXx~~~Sam's personality is very complicated, and made up of many layers.
Previous to the infectious outbreak, Sam was happy-go-lucky and reckless. She cared little of herself and too much for her owners and their kids. When everyone she loved died, however, everything changed. Sam found another side of her, one buried deep inside, suffocated by her careless attitude. She adapted strongly to the new world, and took on a stronger mentality. She's cautious and untrusting, and if you've possibly been infected, she'll leave you, not afraid to tell you the truth, no matter how harsh it may seem. She's stubborn and strong-willed, but at the same time clever and cunning. She knows what she's doing and is always planning ten-steps ahead, no matter how dumb she may come across. In fact, she's very good at acting. Whenever she meets others, she puts on an act, making it seem as if she's a dumb, previously spoiled princess, now scared and hungry, and desperate for help. But underneath, she's laughing at you for believing the lie, for you are the dumb one.
In a group, she gets along fairly well, still untrusting, but nice to a certain point. If you break that point, you will unleash fury and, trust me, you will certainly regret it. When Sam is mad, it is very hard to soothe her, and it's best to just let her be until she cools down.
Although she may not like to admit it, she has a mental weakness; she can't say no to a poor soul in need of help. That has always been her downfall.
No matter how much the tables turn away from her favor, however, she doesn't give up easily.
All in all, Sam is stubborn, cautious, clever, strong-willed, independent survivor at heart.
Sam was born into a warm home, with her many siblings by her side. Despite her appearance now, Sam was actually the runt of the litter. At the age of seven weeks, a man bought her from her breeder and took her home to his wife and two kids.
Although she missed her parents, she was told to expect being taken away, and that she was loved very much. At first, she didn't really like the children very much, they were loud and messy. But she grew used to them in time, and even became their best friend. She enjoyed playing with them out in the yard, and going for walks, and the occasional 'dog park days' where she got to meet other dogs and play chase the ball, or 'fetch' by her owners' vocabulary.
But one day, everything changed. Sam had gone outside with the children for a game of tag. All was well, until something very strange crashed into the forest near the house. Immediately, the kids went to investigate. But Sam knew something was wrong. She could smell it in the air. She began barking out warnings, but the children just laughed and told her to hush up. With a whine, Sam watched the kids yell that they couldn't see, and scream in pain. Then, with a bark that meant "I'll be right back" She dashed to the house to warn their parents.
But by the time she got there, it was too late. When Sam pushed open the back door with her nose, she saw her owners, dead on the ground. Sam didn't know what to do, or what was happening, and it scared her. A low growl behind her told her she had company, and it wasn't friendly. Sam turned, and saw a dog. She knew it was feral, there was an unmistakable craziness in it's eyes. It slobbered and growled and chuckled, and followed her with a frightening glare. Sam thought she knew her life was over, until she saw a knife on the floor. It was within reach too.
Sam made a quick decision to live through whatever was going on, and grabbed the knife in her mouth. The dog leaped toward her viciously, and just as it reached her, Sam swung the knife toward it.
By either hidden skill, or great luck, Sam had managed to stab it clean in the head. The dog dropped to the ground with a thud. With that, Sam started to leave, and then looked back. She pulled the knife from the dog's head and then departed the house, for she knew that living there would kill her, mentally or physically.
